DETROIT
The IUEC Local 36 Lift Up Foundation was born from the generosity, commitment, and belief of our past sponsors. Their support showed us what is possible when a community comes together with purpose: more lives can be touched, more organizations can be supported, and more hope can be shared with those who need it most.
By establishing the Lift Up Foundation, we are expanding our ability to reach charitable organizations, assist individuals and families in meaningful ways, and bring greater awareness to suicide prevention within the construction industry and among veterans. These are communities built on strength, service, and sacrifice, but they also face challenges that too often remain unseen or unspoken.
Our mission is to lift up others by turning generosity into action. With the continued support of our sponsors, members, partners, and community, the IUEC Local 36 Lift Up Foundation will work to create lasting impact, support those in need, and help ensure that no one faces their struggles alone.

Mission
The IUEC Local 36 Lift Up Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The Foundation’s mission is to support and strengthen the communities served by IUEC Local 36 through philanthropic giving and assistance that advances wellness, public service, and opportunity, with particular emphasis on supporting veterans and promoting suicide prevention and mental health awareness..

Vision
We envision a world where every tradesperson, veteran, and person who feels alone knows they are valued, supported, and never beyond hope. Our foundation works toward a future where asking for help is seen as a sign of strength, reaching out is met with compassion and understanding, and no one has to face pain, hardship, or crisis alone. Through connection, education, and community-based suicide prevention, we strive to ensure help is always within reach and every life is protected with dignity and care.
